We have the most experienced Hair Stylist as part of our team.
Theresa has worked in London, Scotland, Australia and is now back in Central Otago. She has worked with a multitude of diverse hair types. Being a cutting and colourist specialist she brings with her an amazing skill set and her mantra is “there is nothing she cannot do”.
Beachy waves, Hollywood curls, low messy buns, plaits, braids, hair extensions, blow waves, wig work - she’s a master!
Having also worked for fashion shows and weddings for over 35+ years she can do anything you wish. She doesn't just GHD curl styles, she is traditionally trained and uses rollers/setting techniques/pinning and all sorts of other genius old school methodologies that will have your style looking perfect and lasting the duration of your event.
Helicopter and dance floor ready. We often have clients who say their hair lasts till the next day!
HAIR FAQ’s AND ADVICE

If you are really undecided and have a few different ideas about what you want, are unsure and need help and guidance - then YES Definitely!! You don’t want to be mucking around on the day of your event chopping and changing - way too stressful. A trial is a great opportunity for the stylist to talk to you about veil placement, hair adornments, flowers being used, or if you wish to use extensions - we need to guide you in what works with your existing hair and proper integration so your style looks seamless and polished. A trial is a good time for the stylist to see your; length, texture, colour, what styles suit your face shape and we can also talk about who else is having what for the day and make a plan.

We don't do trials too far out from the date of your event as hair length, colour and sometimes your style can change. It is way more relevant to have a hair trial closer to the time. When you have your outfit(s) sorted.

Anything you are wanting to incorporate into your style ie: a veil, clips, hair band, extensions.
Pictures of inspiration are always good. Wear a similar colour top to what your outfit for the day is. This helps to match and see how it all goes together.

We can absolutely put these in and integrate them with your desired hairstyle. We need to know and chat about them prior. We like to know if they are Human/Remy - length and if they have been colour matched.
There is an additional charge for this - so please let us know prior to the time of your appointment.
