HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR MAKEUP & HAIR PREVIEW
BEFORE YOUR PREVIEW
Please arrive with a clean face and no makeup, including mascara, BB cream or tinted moisturiser.
Your hair should be clean and completely dry.
If you plan to be tanned for your wedding or event, we recommend having a similar tan for your preview.
Wear a top or outfit in a colour similar to what you will wear on the day. This helps us assess how the colour works with your skin tone, hair and makeup.
Please tell us beforehand about any allergies, sensitivities or products you would prefer us not to use.
WHAT TO BRING
Save your hair and makeup inspiration images to your phone before arriving.
Bring your veil, hair accessories, extensions or hairpieces if you plan to wear them.
If available, bring a fabric swatch or photograph showing the colour and neckline of your outfit.
You are welcome to bring a trusted friend or family member. Please let us know beforehand so we can ensure there is enough space.
HELPFUL INFORMATION
Preview appointments are held at 20 Bevan Place, Wānaka. Please park in the cul-de-sac.
Lashes are included. During your preview, they may be temporarily placed so you can see the complete look. Please tell us if you have a latex or lash-glue allergy.
Contact us if you are running late or anticipate any delays.
Please tell us if you do not consent to photographs being used on our website or social media.
AFTER YOUR PREVIEW
Take plenty of photographs in different lighting, mirrors and locations so you can see how your hair and makeup look from a variety of angles. Makeup can appear quite different in natural daylight, indoor lighting and photographs.
Wear the look for several hours and notice how it settles and lasts. Pay attention to whether your skin absorbs the makeup, becomes shiny or dry, and whether any areas fade or require adjustment. If you are having a hair preview, also note how comfortably the style wears and how well it holds.
Please send us your thoughtful feedback after you have had time to experience the complete look. This helps us make any final refinements and ensures everything is carefully planned for your wedding or special event.
