MARRAKECH WEDDING M & H

Well wow, what an unforgettable experience to be a part of; a three-day event that began at La Pause nestled in the desert. This was a truly NIGHT IN THE DESERT Experience. Featuring traditional Henna Tattooing and unique cultural rituals that were both beautiful and deeply meaningful. Lovely Mariam wore a stunning green kaftan, and the evening was epic, with guests having the wonderful opportunity to meet each other for the very first time, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. An amazing meal was shared, accompanied by candles lit everywhere, traditional meals cooked in the Tagine - real authentic Moroccan food. All these images have been captured by the very talented team from Alami Photography - PHOTOGRAPHER.

Ksar Char Bagh - VENUE - This place is next level - being a guest there, it was amazing to be part of all the “goings on” - seeing The Bloom Room put together the flower arch by The Bloom Room -  FLORIST was incredible to see the time and workmanship that went into it. The staff preparing the bar and eating areas, cushions on the lawns and rugs everywhere - truly majestical.

On the morning of the wedding, what a fabulous girl crew gathered; lovely, fun ladies to spend the morning with the bride, all so happy, helpful, and full of positive energy, making the time together truly joyful. Mariam was a calm and serene bride, glowing with happiness. Haig’s kilt and wedding attire were absolutely next level, impeccably styled, and perfectly complemented Mariam.

The ceremony was carefully thought out, planned and wonderfully put together by Marrykech, CELEBRANT.

THE PIPER!!! James Macrae, all the way from Edinburgh, added a truly authentic and memorable touch to the event. This couple had thought of every last detail, down to the amazing gifts thoughtfully left in our rooms on the night of the wedding, including exquisite olive oil and dates from the region, so wonderfully and meticulously thought out, even a Tartan Scarf from the TARTAN SCARF CO to take home as a wedding memory.

The Amariya tradition, in which four men carry the couple around as they parade the newlyweds, was so much fun and full of energy. Mariam had so many incredible outfits throughout the day, it was amazing to witness the rich blend of Scottish, Berber, Islamic, and French cultures, all beautifully melded together with guests from all over the world, making for an unforgettable, magical celebration.

Loved DJ Neil getting everyone up dancing and also the kebabs at the after-party.

The next day was a POOL PARTY - what could go wrong? Where DJs Ed and Neil struck again, with superb dancing from the party crew. Even some Pool antics!! All this was pulled together by the very organised and amazing wedding planner.

Lovely to see Mariam’s makeup (by Deirdre, Road To Beauty) still flawless after tears, wedding, singing, dancing, a desert stint, and a long wedding day that carried on into the early hours; high-end products truly make a difference.
