I had the pleasure of meeting Danielle and Josh in Winter of 2016. It was well prior to their wedding in Summer and we had chatted over a coffee/wine, needless to say, we hit it off instantly. I could see on that day, even though Danielle had been rushing around meeting all her wedding vendors, her natural beauty shone through. I knew she was going to look incredibly beautiful and would be a graceful bride. Their devotion to and admiration of each other was so nice to see.
It was a fun morning with a great group of lovely ladies who kept Danielle calm and looked after her really well. The arrival of the flowers was spectacular and Jenny from Studio 24 had done an amazing job.
Criffel was the venue set up and styled beautifully. This place is so truly rustic and epitomises a great Central Otago wedding. The area outside lends itself to ambience and fires lit at night all make for a fun party atmosphere for all.
The newlyweds snuck away for a photo session with the talented Jim Pollard who ticked all the boxes for epic mountain shots.
Danielle and Josh were also super excited about their romantic Honeymoon planned to: Italy, USA and The Maldives.
I hope all their desires, wishes and hopes for the future all come true.

Myer Wedding
This was a spectacular and wonderful wedding to be part of. The gorgeous Myer family of Australia and their daughter getting married to Justin at their Lodge in Wanaka - Whare Kea.
A beautiful elegant and poised lady with divine friends. Who all carried off everyting they did with charm, sincerity and a hint of mischeviousness.
The week of was a busy flurry of activity with the erection of a marquee on the grounds of the lodge, flowers arriving, signs and wedding preprations all in full swing. I got to spend a day with the ladies prior to the wedding doing a few beauty essentials. It was so amazing to hear the band and Bobby Valentine practice whilst doing this.
Lucy and her bridal party were so much fun, lots of laughter and hilarity on the morning of and not a stress in sight. My team of 4 kept it all smoothly on track and worked hard towards the deadline for the nuptials.
So wrapt that Wanaka turned on possible one of the best days of Summer for this wedding.

So WOW!!! Central Otago - we decided to show you off and all that comes with you! In collaboration with a spectacular new website that launches on 01 September 2016; Silk and Honey, started by the creative genius Carla Munro (Director) of Black Robin Creative. Carla came up with this stunning styled shoot and it was planned and plotted with a few other creative muses in the area.
So off we all trotted to explore a region that I feel warrants more exposure. Central Otago is just GORGEOUS!. People should really flock to this region to get some epics shots. OLD WOMAN MOUNTAIN RANGE - Spectacular, fabulous and a little bit different. The professional team at Heliview Flights know this area like the back of their hands! They took the team up to a spot only the awesome pilot Richard (please see picture of him below) knows exist.
Using the Canon5Dmkiii and a whole bunch of other fabulous technological equipment that is a bit long to mention was the lovely Bel Jones - pretty awesome considering this beautiful, pregnant and glowing photographer jumped around in the snow to get such amazing shots of the lovely Kiera McLeod.
The dress was a 10 year old Astra Bridal number worn by Kiera - which is pretty special as it was worn by her Mum. Thank you Ms Andrea Gooch for all your help and kindness and letting us have it for the day. Lovely Neda of Pristine Steam Cleaning managed to get the dress primped and primed and honestly looking just like new!
Jenny Clark from Studio 24 as always made the most sumptuous bouquet and hair flowers, comprised of: Freesias, Roses, Ranunculus, Anemones, Chrysanthemum, Spray Carnations and mixed seasonal foliage.
The drop - Quartz Reef - oh yes - delicious it was..... Quartz Reef Methode Traditionelle Brut NV was the perfect tipple for these surrounds.
